Hi! Community copies need refilled, please. Thanks!

(+1)

Just bought Random Realities (and Everspark) after exploring your creations via your YouTube videos and examples here on Itch.io.  Very excited to begin creating.

I was not able to get either the regular version or the mobile versions to work on my iPhone or iPad.  Neither the click for the Roll Dice nor the clicking on title of the category work for me.  Clicking on the chart of two dice results does take me to those pages, but then I have to constantly go back to that intro page to get randomized results.  Is there something I am doing wrong in the way I am accessing the mobile version so that I can get the “click on title of the category” to work?

Hi there! Thanks for your support and question!

Are you using a dedicated PDF reader app? The default reader on iOS struggles a bit with JavaScript. The mobile version should work, although when you click on the category title, it will take you to a random page alright, albeit to the top of the page.

Let me know if that helps!

Thank you Cezar - much appreciated.  I suspected I was missing something.  I downloaded a dedicated PDF reader app, and it works well now.  Thank you for that quick feedback.

Thanks, this is great!

FYI, for anyone else having this issue, you need to rename the Obsidian file to just “Random Realities” for the linking inside it to work.

Thanks for the tip!

Hello. Do you plan on putting up more community copies? This is an awesome tool.

hi there fabulous creator

Just curious if there’s any community copies of your cool game available? I’m a disabled pensioner with PTSD, chronic anxiety and depression and these new community games available by generous creators like you make a huge difference to my daily life.

Having new games to play regularly helps me have a bit better quality of life and makes such a huge difference to me.  I really appreciate game creators like you who do generously offer these community copies to people going through a hard time. It really helps out.

I know some people think anyone requesting community copies regularly are just abusing this system and don’t need them.

I can’t afford much but do buy bundles when I can afford them and have supported:

I have bought games I play regularly as I can afford them to

This is really well done, really compact but has so much content in each page.

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Appreciate it!

The web app is awesome. It deserves a feature to one-click copy a aection. It would be helpful for solo play as well as adventure prep.

That’d be awesome, really

Do you know when/ if there will be more community copies?
thanks

Can you notify me when they're refilled please? Thanks!

(+1)(-1)

There will be more as soon as I'm done with the current project and have some time to go over sales!

(+2)(-2)

Let me know when you do, okay?

It’s not possible to automatically notify anyone over community copies on itch. As for messaging people individually, that’s untenable for creators on the long term. Keep coming back and from time to time you’ll see some and hopefully get one.

(-2)

Can you maybe post here then? I get a notification when someone replies to this post.

There are some more up!

Argh! I missed them! Are there going to be any more?

I'm not interested in the PoD option, is there a pdf-only option?

(1 edit)

Hello! The PoD is offered complimentary (I don't get any revenue from it), so the price is already essentially for the PDF, I'm afraid. If that doesn't work for you, hit me up, I'm sure we can find an alternative :)

Hi!

I understand it is really “at cost”, but it’s something I will never use, no need to give the PoD printer free money :)

I'm a bit tight on money now, and I prefer doing the binding myself, so I will wait for a community copy, or a better economy
