Kismet Expansion released!
Hello, friends!
As promised during the itchfunding campaign, I came up with an expansion for the game!
This one includes an extended example of play, highlighting all possible rolls you can make in Kismet, and hopefully showcasing the design philosophies behind the game engine.
It also provides a few optional rules you can plug into your game, if you feel the need for more mechanical weight to your character traits, and a little more numerical guidance when it comes to determining the outcome of your actions and your encounters.
The expansion ended up being 40 pages long (that's more than the core rules!), so I decided to release it as a separate booklet, together with a coupon to purchase it at-cost as a print on demand zine. This way, the original book remains slim and relatively inexpensive to print, and ll the optional stuff is separate for your convenience.
I hope you enjoy it!

How many of the optional rules can we add to Kismet? Do we use them all, half, or just a few? By the way, the game is fantastic.
Reposting my answer here as others may find it helpful: as many as you’d like! There are, however, a few alternatives that cover the same aspect of the game, essentially being different ways to solve the same problem.
My suggestion would be to add one of the rules that you feel you need the most, and roll with it for a bit. Then, as you go, you add more as you need them. If you feel they are not working together, perhaps pick an alternative version or tweak it a bit.
Thank you Mr Cezar Capacle.
